• The ultimate decision is taken by the Greener Arbitration committee, which can also put forward other nominations for consideration

The best development category recognises developments not in case law but the legal and institutional framework surrounding arbitration. 

• The development in question should have had an impact on the broader field of international arbitration, not just the goals of the individual or organisation concerned.  
• These could new initiatives, codes, laws, hearing centres and anything in between. 
• Any institution, individual, group, association or law firm is eligible to apply.

• Firms will be eligible for each award based on their work relating to the region in question, regardless of whether they have offices there. Boutiques, national and international firms are all invited to apply. 
• When submitting, please select the region you are submitting for consideration.
• Firms are permitted to apply for more than one category.  
• GAR will consider impressive work pertaining to the region in question, as well as other examples of firm investment such as hires or initiatives focused on the relevant region.  
• The time period covered by entries should be January 2026 onwards. While projects and legal work may be ongoing, the bulk of the activity submitted for consideration must have taken place within this time period. 
• There is the option to mark your entry as confidential at the end of the form.
