Workshop on the Art of Cross-Examination hosted by GAR

30 November 2026 | London, UK

GAR Academy Live: Workshop on the Art of Cross-Examination hosted by GAR

Join us for a half-day London workshop exploring what it takes to conduct a strong cross-examination. This practical session is designed to help you develop and strengthen one of the key skills in arbitration advocacy: cross-examination. Hosted as part of London Arbitration Week, it is a great opportunity to sharpen your advocacy skills alongside peers and leading practitioners.

The workshop features an interactive panel examining best practice, common mistakes and effective questioning techniques. You will work through realistic scenarios in groups, shape your own approach, and then present cross-examinations in pairs to the faculty for supportive feedback on how strengthen your technique.

Designed for junior arbitrators, this focused, hands-on workshop will help you build confidence, refine your questioning style and take away practical skills you can use immediately.

What our members say about GAR Academy

Really excellent—very practical and insightful. The range of experiences shared, especially first-hand ones, was unique and valuable. My colleagues and I found it particularly helpful for understanding psychological aspects. It’s also impressive that it’s led by practitioners, not just academics, and the focus on cross-examinations makes it stand out.
