Fatima Balfaqeeh is the Founder and Managing Partner of Balfaqeeh Advocates and Legal Consultants, a UAE-certified advocate, chartered arbitrator, and internationally recognized dispute resolution specialist.
Fatima has extensive experience advising on commercial, legal, and operational matters across a wide range of sectors, including construction, infrastructure, finance, and banking.
She is a Chartered Arbitrator (FCIArb, C.Arb) of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (FCIPS).
She serves on the Panel of Arbitrators of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID).
Alongside her legal practice, Fatima serves as an Adjunct Lecturer in Law at Middlesex University Dubai, contributing to the development of future legal professionals. As one of the few independent female arbitrators and mediators in the UAE, she continues to advocate for Environmental, Sustainability, and Governance related matters, and promoting next generations in law in dispute resolution.
