May Tai is an Independent Arbitrator. She is also Vice President of the ICC Court of Arbitration, on the ICSID Panel of Conciliators and a CEDR accredited mediator. Until 2023, May practised as counsel and advocate and was a Partner of Herbert Smith Freehills where she served as the firm’s China Managing Partner and Asia Managing Partner. Outside of dispute resolution, May also sits as an Independent Non-Executive Director of ANZ Bank, China.
