Caroline Falconer is the Secretary General of the SCC Arbitration Institute. She holds a Swedish LL.M. from Stockholm University and an LL.M. in International Dispute Resolution from King's College, London. Caroline has over 10 years of experience in Swedish law firms, specializing in dispute resolution, and has also served at the Stockholm District Court. From 2015 to 2022, she worked as Senior Legal Counsel at a leading European energy company, where she gained deep insights into the daily challenges faced by in-house legal teams. Caroline is a co-founder of SWAN (Swedish Women in Arbitration Network), a professional network dedicated to women in arbitration. She has also chaired the board of the Swedish Company Lawyers Association and serves on the jury for the prestigious “Company Lawyer of the Year” award in Sweden. Additionally, Caroline is a council member of the International Federation of Commercial Arbitration Institutions (IFCAI) and a board member of the International Law Association, Sweden. She is a frequent speaker at both domestic and international legal events.
