Description
The OIC-Arbitration Centre was established in line with its Statute and relevant resolutions adopted by COMCEC, the Council of Foreign Ministers, and the ICCD Board of Directors. The Centre aims to provide arbitration and alternative dispute resolution services for commercial and investment disputes involving parties from OIC member states and beyond.
The objectives of the Centre:
-> Facilitating the settlement of commercial and investment disputes referred to the Centre involving natural persons or legal persons from the Member States of the OIC and Non-OIC States.
-> Promoting arbitration and other forms of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) mechanisms among OIC Member States.
-> Enhancing knowledge and improving skills and expertise in arbitration and other forms of ADR mechanisms.
-> Making submissions on the reform of dispute resolution law and practice in the Member States of the OIC.
