Paula Hodges KC is an experienced independent arbitrator. Formerly leading Herbert Smith Freehills' Global Arbitration Practice for nearly two decades, Paula has been a prominent figure in international dispute resolution, particularly in the energy, telecommunications, and technology sectors. Her extensive career includes acting as arbitrator and counsel in many jurisdictions around the world, including London, Paris, Geneva, Singapore, New York, Hong Kong, Dubai and Stockholm. With notable appearances before the High Court in London, Paula's expertise is widely recognised. A graduate of the University of Cambridge with an M.A. in Law, she was appointed Queen's Counsel (now King's Counsel) in 2014 and performed the role of President of the LCIA Court from 2019 until May 2025.
