Stefan joined OMV in 2006 and currently holds the position of Vice President Legal, Business Partner Energy at OMV Aktiengesellschaft. He and his team take care of the upstream and related low-carbon business matters in OMV Group internationally. Recent years increased his focus on matters involving dispute resolution, in particular commercial arbitration and related proceedings. Since 2022, Stefan has been a member of the multi-disciplinary Gas Task Force of OMV, addressing the various challenges that arose for OMV with the Ukraine war. Prior to his work in OMV, Stefan worked in first tier Viennese law firms as attorney with a focus on South-Eastern Europe. He holds legal degrees of the University of Vienna, New York University and Danube University of Krems and is registered with the New York Bar.
