Christina Hioureas is a partner and Global Co-Chair of the firm's International Litigation & Arbitration Department, and Chair of the firm’s United Nations practice group. Christina also serves on the firm’s Management Committee. Christina represents States, State-owned entities, and corporations in international commercial and investment treaty disputes and public international law matters—including before all major arbitral fora (ICSID, UNCITRAL, ICC, SIAC, LCIA, ICDR, AAA), the International Court of Justice (ICJ), and the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (ITLOS). She also serves as presiding, sole, emergency and co-arbitrator in international and domestic arbitration disputes, bringing to each matter a balanced perspective informed by her extensive experience representing both private investors and States across a wide range of industries and legal systems. Her dual background as counsel to claimants and respondent States equips her with a nuanced understanding of the interests and concerns of all parties in complex international disputes.
