Jonathan Melzer is a Director in the Expert Services practice, based in Paris. He leverages 15 years of construction experience to provide independent expertise to law firms, construction companies and clients involved in disputes related to delays and disruptions in construction projects.

Jonathan has invaluable experience in international disputes, covering arbitrations in both civil and common law jurisdictions across Europe, Africa, America, Asia and the Middle East. He has worked in a wide range of sectors, including energy, industrial, water management, commercial, residential and transport.

Prior to joining Kroll, Jonathan was at Blackrock Expert Services, which was acquired by Kroll in 2020. Before his tenure at Blackrock, he gained extensive experience as a civil engineer and project manager, working on large civil engineering projects such as tunnels, railways, buildings and energy infrastructure. His roles have spanned both design office positions and on-site construction management. Notably, Jonathan has contributed to flagship projects like High Speed Two and the Thames Tideway Tunnel.
