Manu Thadikkaran holds a dual role – both as General Counsel of Abu Dhabi Offshore Power Transmission Company (ADOPT) and Senior Legal Counsel at EDF Middle East.  Based in Abu Dhabi, Manu works on major renewable energy projects in the Middle East region, with particular focus on ADOPT, the Project Company tasked with the construction (as the employer) and long-term operation of a USD 3.6 billion first-of-it’s-kind sub-sea power transmission network in the UAE.  Manu also has extensive prior experience in private practice for almost a decade, having worked in White & Case (Paris) and A&O Shearman (Dubai), focussing on both construction and investment arbitration.
