Ahmed is a Partner at gb². He is a mechanical engineer and construction planner specialising in delay analysis. Ahmed’s experience has been gained working on construction projects in various site and office-based roles within the planning, project management, contract management and tendering departments. His project experience includes power, oil and gas, infrastructure, utilities, buildings and various residential and commercial projects in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

Ahmed is a delay expert. He has testified both as a tribunal appointed expert and as a party appointed expert. Ahmed was cited in Who’s Who Legal: Construction 2022 as an “excellent and highly qualified expert who receives outstanding feedback for his thorough but easy-to-follow, clear and concise reports and for being calm and helpful under cross examination” and continues to be recommended by Lexology Index. He was cited in Lexology Index: Construction 2025 as “a well-known construction expert with market sources praising him for his ability to produce clear and simple drafts on complicated delay matters.

Ahmed holds an MSc in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution from King’s College London and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
