Prior to founding Gaillard Banifatemi Shelbaya Disputes she was a partner at Shearman & Sterling LLP where she practiced for more than twenty years. She has represented companies, States and State-owned entities in numerous investor-State and commercial arbitrations, under the Rules of the ICC, SCC, ICSID, and UNCITRAL Rules, among others. Her commercial arbitration experience includes multiple arbitrations arising from construction projects, energy and oil and gas arbitrations, disputes arising from M&A transactions and joint ventures, as well as commercial disputes related to sales, supply and other agreements. Coralie’s industry experience includes arbitrations in the oil and gas, energy (nuclear and renewable), chemicals, media, retail and defence sectors.
