Michelle Vasco is Director of Development at CIIAM (International and Ibero-American Arbitration Center of Madrid). An Ecuadorian lawyer, she holds an Advanced LL.M. from Leiden University and a specialization in M&A and Complex Disputes from IE University. In addition to her role at CIIAM, Michelle acts as an arbitral tribunal secretary and mediator, co-directs the Ecuadorian Arbitration Journal, and teaches international arbitration in the master’s program at Universidad Villanueva. She previously worked in the International Arbitration Department of the Attorney General’s Office of Ecuador and as a senior associate at law firms handling international arbitration matters across Ecuador and Latin America.
